Default Where is Dracsnir?

Not sure if I spelt it right, but it's apparently the birthplace of King Adelbern and Prine Rurik. I was wondering if anyone had an idea where it is?

While on the subject, where are the Kree Foothills for that matter (is Kree the small fishing village in the south in Pre-Searing Ascalon)?

I can help with Drascir, at least. I believe you see the city in the Surmia mission, though I don't think you have access to it at any other time. It's north and a bit east of Ascalon City, well beyond the safety of the Northern wall. The historical monument there speaks of how the city was founded at the end of the last guild war, and was put outside the Wall in a vote of confidence that such a war would never occur again.

Hope that helps.

I thought that was the description given for Surmia (which is another town), although I could be wrong. Anyway I guess I'll check it out when I play the Ruins of Surmia mission.

I didn't want to spoil anything just in case, but seeing as you've played the mission already...

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

When you rescue Eorl, and he says you should go to the wall before night falls and you're all captured, Rurik responds with something along the lines of "No, blah blah blah. We head to the ruins of the old capital Drascir."

Then, once you're inside the final city, and you lower the drawbride for Rurik, he again gives a speech which this time includes, "I grew up in this city, I know a way around them (the Charr)."

Although I haven't read it anywhere, I'm under the impression that Surmia is the region (north of the wall) and Drascir is the city itself.

ahhh fair enough - I'll concentrate closely when doing that mission again. Thanks Jenosavel (I was confused since in the manual it says Cynn was born in Surmia - so I guess she was born in the region instead of the city Drascir ).
